Pixel 4 and 4XL, What we know so far.


Google Pixel, a series of phone from Google that has not garnered huge public attention but has been the goto phone for tech enthusiast is about to launch its new series namely Pixel 4 and 4XL and are about to hit the global and Indian market soon in the festive session.

Premium segment in Indian smartphone market has been dominated by three key players namely Apple, One plus and Samsung over the years and One plus has remained the undisputed king in terms of sales. So,the question arises that can Google turn the game this time in its favor or the same old trend of competitor’s phone outselling the Pixel would continue. Let’s find out

History of Pixel Phones
Most of us must be knowing about the Nexus series where in the software was from Google and the hardware and the branding on the phone was from the Manufacturer of the phone, but from 2016 Google decided to launch their own branded series of phone and that’s how the Pixel was born. The difference between Nexus and Pixel line up was that Pixel was a complete Google experience as it was a Google branded phone.
The company announced their first phones  Pixel and Pixel XL, where the Xl is the bigger brother to the normal pixel with bigger screen size. After that ever passing year saw a new Pixel from Google but the sales in India never took off down to poor marketing and premium pricing.
Pixel 4 and 4Xl, what we know so far
What separated Pixel from other smartphones in the market was the camera performance, it was a shade or even two shade better than anything in the market starting from the first pixel which had the highest Dxomark score and the story continued with every iteration of the smartphone. Apart from that the stock android experience from Google is the purest form of Android you cannot get from any Android powered phone in the market. Further the innovative features that Pixel line up can boast off others can't like the background music detection where in your Pixel can listen to the music played in the background and display the name of the song with details in your screen.
Now with the Pixel 4 and 4Xl nearing its launch and a lot of leaks of the phone is out.So, lets check out what we know so far about the Pixel smartphones.

From the specifications it could be seen that this time around Google has taken a leap with their 4 and 4Xl.For the first time we could see a dual camera in the rear, a 90hz refresh rate display and a more polished design from Google. What could be icing in the cake is the highly anticipated Air gesture feature could be an interesting feature to play around with.
Pixel 4 and 4Xl are going to be unveiled in Paris on 15 October and we have to wait to see what Google brings to the table this year and its Indian pricing would be something that we must watch for.
