Looking to buy your first car, check it out
Cars are much more than a need in today's
world. People often turn emotional while buying cars and it it is a matter of
pride for the owner.
Earlier one who bought his/her
first car had budget of 3 to 4 lakhs but now budget have increased and
customer's first car stretches up to 6 lakhs rupees on road price. Hence we
thought of listing the best cars under 6 lakhs.
1)Tata Tiago-Winning the hearts of every auto critics it was imperative for
the Tiago to top the list. Tiago with impact design, a new design philosophy
from Tata motors is the most handsome and sleek looking car in the segment. Looks
are subjective but we definitely prefer Tiago’s look as compared to others in
the segment. Along with looks the features list is the most liberal in the
segment offering segment first Alloy wheels, Projector headlamp, Automatic
climate control and a stealer Harmon Kardon 8 speaker music system. But what
really stands out in Tiago is the ride and handling balance which is superior to
any of the competition cars, its outstanding to say the least.

2)Maruti Suzuki Ignis-Maruti’s Ignis may cross the 6 lakhs limit but its lower
variant are significantly affordable and fall in under 6 lakhs rupees bracket.
This car from country’s largest manufacturer is squarely aimed at the “Millennials”
and it delivers. From the chicky looking exterior design to the simple yet
functional interior it delivers where it maters the most. But what stands out in
Ignis is the 1.2 liters k12 petrol engine that delivers exceptional performance
with decent mileage. If features doesn’t matter to you and you can compromise
on features this is the best car to go for in its lower and mid trims.

3)Hyundai Santro-Hyundai Santro rulled the petrol hatchback market back in early
2000 and its successor is here to do the same. The new Santro is more of a tall
boy design than a conventional hatchback design. Its exterior design is polarizing
but interior is the best in the segment staying true to its Hyundai’s dna.It
offers rear Ac vents and a high quality interior quality to make a statement. It
is powered by 1.1 liter petrol engine with 4 cylinder that has the best NVH
level and is the best city car in the list. Its directly aimed towards urban
market and is the best car for city.Further the ride quality is exceptional
only falling behind the Tiago in this matter.

4)Maruti Wagon R-Wagon R, a name that rules this segment is known for its
practicality. It may not have the best of exterior design but delivers when it
comes to comfort, mileage and space. The tall boy from Maruti is quite tall and offers
excellent space and headroom and decent features. Wagon R’s resell and ability
to be repaired anywhere is a big plus, futher it has been in the Indian roads
for a while and is a tested product with which you cannot go wrong. It too can
be a very capable city car behind Hyundai Santro and is a comfortable commuter.Further
is you buy 1.2 liter K series engine variant you can enjoy a lot of fun behind
the wheels.
Maruti Celerio-Celerio from Maruti Suzuki is the most
underrated car in its portfolio. From being most spacious car in the segment to
the most balanced car in the segment. That’s what goes against Celerio that it
performs average in almost every parameters not excelling in anyone but that doesn’t
mean that it is a bad car. What Celerio is, it is a good mixture of everthing in a car but now
it is in a desperate need of a facelift making it the last car in the list.
